We just stayed 2 nights at waterstone with our 2 young kids. Rooms are clean with nice neutral decor. Pool small and chairs dirty.. but kids had a good time swimming. Located close to a bridge which is an eyesore when at the pool. Food service slow and food was ok... but way overpriced.
Our main problem with the hotel was the noise... Walls must have no insulation because we could here banging from the neighboring room starting at 7 am... and noise outside in the hallway, mostly slamming doors and people talking. The first night, we were woken at 11:30 pm by a woman diagonal from us yelling in the hallway.. and then at 5:30 am by a loud family with kids. We let the front desk know, but it didn’t seem to reduce the noise and I receive no follow up.
Thankfully, our room was on the water side, not the drawbridge side/highway which would have been even worse!
Overall, this hotel served its purpose and room was clean with nice decor, but would have been nice to get a good nights sleep and more responsive front desk. Also, in my opinion, prices and resort fees way too high for what you get... bare bones resort without a luxurious feel.
I would rate 3.5 stars
