Authentic like the old grandmother used to cook. Homemade pasta, great gravy, stuffed peppers, smelts. Outstanding chopped antipasto. Not fancy but GOOD.

Attilio's is the in-laws go to Italian restaurant for most family occasions. Attilio's has some good appetizers, ask if they have the fried peppers, seasonal only, yum. Most dish are well prepared and filling. Can''t tell you about desert always to full.

You have to know Wilmington to appreciate nostalgic restaurants. It's small, vintage but Good!! Italian 100%. Everyone loved their dinners and the service was great. It's authentic all homemade pasta, sauce, meatballs etc. cramped seating doesn't stop people from frequenting. Place was packed. Order house salad you get lettuce, tomato n a few onion rings order a dinner the plate is loaded. Worth a try.

Took my family to Attilio's so my 85 year old father could get his favorite Italian food. Our waitress Robin made us feel right at home. We ordered smelts & spitza ( Italian veal dish) on spaghetti. The smelts were delicious. Melt in your mouth so good!! The entrees came and they were delicious. Beer was cold, great waitress and delicious food What more could you ask for???

I hadn't been to Attilio's for years but a friend suggested it for dinner. It was wonderful. The menu is limited but the food quality and preparation were very good. Specializing in home-made pasta and red sauces, the servings were ample and delicious. I should have come here earlier. Prices are modest , good friendly service and it has the feel of a neighborhood meeting place. Try it out.
