Enjoyed watching the boats come into and out of the harbor. Ten dollar fee seemed excessive, but toilets were clean and it was well maintained. one hint...when you buy a pass for that park....it is good for ANY park that day. Not something they tell you.

Great beach with ample parking. Pay by the carload. Clean and comfortable but no lifeguard. Small snack bar. Great if you want to avoid the crowds and hubbub

Campground was clean and modern but just not what we were expecting from a state park

We have stayed at quite a few other state parks in various areas and we are used to more space and more trees

You are almost under the highway bridge and beside the highway so it can be noisy and wide open

But it's also very close to the beach that you can walk under to go to

It was nice to see but I would not return again

Besides the beach, it has adequate (super) life guards during the day. The bathhouse is newer, roomy and clean. If you want the beach and want to get away from the crowds, pay the entrance fee and check it out! I've seen surf fishing early mornings but haven't done that!

From fishing to swimming to sunning and just chilling, this state park offers it all...good parking, access and lots of room to spread out and enjoy the Delaware beach vibe...low key and high fun.
