Went here for dinner with some co-workers. We had the truffle fries. They were very good then we moved on to the main course. One had meatloaf....very tasty!! I had the short ribs...tasty, moist, and not dry. The other had a garden burger...she only ate half so I don't know. Service was very attentive and the beer selection was awesome. If you are in the area, certainly stop in!

Had to take my MIL car to the only Carmax in DE to sell. So happy we found this place. Great beer and great food. Parmesan truffle fries were great. We had one person who had a burger with brisket (very good) another had a chicken sandwich with imperial crab on top (interesting) and I had the South Philly pulled pork sandwich with a side of orzo pasta (both great). Ask about the specials if the waitress forgets. Don't be afraid to ask for a taste of a beer. We asked for a cider which the waitress recommended we taste it first, she was right it was waaaaaay too sweet (we prefer dry ciders) almost like a dessert wine. Overall if you are in Newark, a great place to go.

I really admire the food here at Two Stones. The chef(s) are very tuned in on what we might enjoy; the menu changes frequently.--YUM!.....However,I am a bit less enchanted with the lighting and ambiance of the bar room, and think the booth was too dark for reading the menu. If there were table candles or some kind of wall sconce on the open tables in the bar room, that may help. Enjoy the beverages very much!!

Dined on a busy Friday night-definitely do call ahead seating! This bar/restaurant is LOUD, so don't go here for a quiet night out, nor would I bring small children here. Had cheese plate, Brewers plate, chicken wings and fish 'n chips. Brewers plate had 3 sausages/sauerkraut-really tasty. Hot & sweet wings were great, but really spicy. Fish & chips were over breaded, as well as served in chunks rather than 1 large piece of fish-not our favorite. Unique beer selection and great service made for an enjoyable evening out.

This is a very popular brew pub in an indifferent little strip mall. You enter on the side even though at first glance the entrance seems to be in the front. The décor is typical brew pub with lots of fun old-fashioned and unusual, metal beer signs on the walls.

The menu is not diverse but has something for everyone's taste. The quality of their food is quite good, much better than we expected, but the portions are huge. So big that I wonder how anyone could finish any of their dishes and drink a beer. The sheer volume alone would cause great discomfort. Everything we had was quite good except for their bread pudding. They were quite proud of it, but I thought it was very mediocre and not worth the calories.
