Our family has taken the Cape May-Lewes Ferry on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed the rides. No complaints about our ride, the seating, or the snacks but for the life of me I cannot begin to understand why a ferry that is only half full must park the cars within inches of each other. People can barely move between the cars let alone get something out of their trunks. A full Ferry would definitely constitute a tight parking scheme but half full does not. The powers to be at the Ferry might want ease the sardine packed parking situation and ease people’s tensions while traveling. I don’t think this is some nautical law that has to be obeyed.
