Got the large pizza w/ meat ball an pepperoni it was good a bit doughey tho- old school inside and small but very cute, full bar but menu is a piece of paper with menu options front and back. Very affordable, service was good and fast.

We went there with family for the first time in 15 years. Back then we went often when we lived a little closer. It was the same as i remembered it for the most part though probably a little cleaner. The pizza was great as well as the salad. The only disappointment were the chicken wings. These guys have missed the boat when it comes to wings. They were horrible. Probably the worst wings we have had anywhere in quite a long time. Its like they feel they are somehow required to put them on the menu but don't really care.

Went there on a recommendation of a local. Heard the salad with the homemade dressing was good to try. Four of us ate from a large size and it was plenty.
The sausage pizza was very very good even though the crust is thicker than I would except from up north. One person ordered the pastrami rueben. It looked like it was dropped on the floor and scooped up on the bread. Another person ordered a grinder - very odd that they didn't offer a steak n cheese. Got the hot roast beef instead - below average taste. And what is up with the green peppers? They just slice one whole one and then slap it on the grinder. Maybe it's a local thing. So if you go - stick with the pizza. And the service was veeerrrryyy slloooowww. We live in the south - so we are used to slow people - this was slower then molasses.

Thank astanley

It’s a good place to hang out with buddies or family. Hi-backed wood booths in the DR offer a private setting and your conversation doesn’t get drowned out by the surrounding folks. It is a small bar area and the DR fills up fast especially on the weekend so there may be a wait for a table. It is so worth it though.
They don’t take resv and the night we went it was only 5:30 and we got the last booth so they start coming in early. The menu is limited to grinders, burgers and pizza.
But the pizza is great. You won’t get that cracker crust here. Thick crust real mozz and not a mozz cheddar blend like other places. And there’ll plenty of it with the usual toppings.
They have good selection of beers, but after all they are a tavern . You won’t be disappointed with the pizza try it on a night that you’re not sure where to go then hit me up and share your thought.
