This charming restaurant is tucked into the lower level of a building with another, separate, restaurant above it. Luc's main room, with its low ceilings and sturdy wood furniture, feels warm and intimate. The delicious French fare includes the classics - gratineed onion soup, mussels, charcuteries, cheeses - along with an ample selections of salads, sandwiches such as croques monsieur, and a variety of entrees. The onion soup is as deep and resonant as one could wish for; the fillet of sole comes with your choice of sauce and lightly cooked garden fresh vegetables. The capuccino was among the best I've had. Ever mindful of calories, my friend and I skipped dessert. We will go back. Soon.
