I loved all the fun activities for all ages! Staff was willing to literally jump right in to run events and help everyone participate. There were even multiple activities for my 3 and 5 year olds. The kids especially liked the shallow pool where they could play without a floatie. Multiple playgrounds around park and a nice splash pad too. Good food selection in cafe (but a lengthy wait time, so order early!). Nice camp site, but some glass around fire pit. My only complaint was on a Wednesday night there was a group playing VERY loud music right up to the 11:30 start of quiet hours, but otherwise a great spot.
Depending on where your coming from, use caution... Our directions to Preston went right through downtown Norwich which is almost impossible with a 27 foot camper. We literally were inches from a dumpster on a one way street, pretty scary! After missing one turn we ended up driving pretty far before finding a place to be able to turn around. Obviously this is no fault of the park, just a word of warning for anyone coming through the Norwich area to reach the park.More
