Description: Rustic Adirondack Bar & Grill. The Bear & Grill offers a casual American menu with regional specials, with most items including desserts and breads made fresh daily.Decor and ambiance is fun and casual. It evokes images of a bygone era of the great camps and lodges of the Adirondacks, complete with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, split logs and twigs, massive antler chandeliers, camping memorabilia, and our own Log Cabin bar.

The food was okay with the onion soup being the best choice. The sampler, too, was just okay. The worst part of the evening was that our waitress couldn't remember anything and kept interrupting us to ask what we had ordered. That being said, They often have live entertainment, so if you want to go out for a drink and an appetizer and enjoy the entertainment, do so. It is certainly not a place for a special event dinner.

This was the worst food we've ever had at a buffet. The ribs were cold, the chicken was dry, and the cheese did not taste like cheese. We were especially blown away when we got the checks and it was $20/person! Worst value ever. We will never be returning. The only reason it got a 2 was because the service was good.

The service was OK, although the orders were a bit slow to arrive. The food was mediocre. The place was dark, not helped by having so few patrons on the day we were there. One staff member explained that weekday evenings are slow; certainly not inviting.

Nope! I had the Prime Rib but my friends had the Lobster Roll. I will keep this short in sweet. Good service, great drinks, great food and great portions. You can go wrong. Oh yah! reasonably priced. Go for it.

We used to be regulars, not anymore. The last visit was very bad. See my previous review. This time we went with kids. We had mac and cheese, ribs, salmon and a burger. Pretty simple and easy for an efficient kitchen to put on in a reasonable amount of time. We waited 30 minutes. The food .average at best..nothing was hot. Fries were actually cold. The burger ( cooked medium) was actually tough and chewy. Eli's is opening on the Post Rd. In a few weeks. We will be going there from now on.
