We came here at the suggestion of the Florence Griswold Museum staff. Not everyone in our party likes "Asian cuisine," so we were happy to discover Morning Glory can accommodate different palates.
I had the Vietnamese sandwich, which was good, although not excellent as the sauce was a tad too sweet. The accompanying fries were delicious and just the right amount. I always feel guilty about not being able to eat all of the frequently too numerous fries. The egg sandwich eaters in our midst reported satisfaction with their orders. .
The wait staff is friendly, eager and attentive, comprised of high school or college age students. The space itself is the real draw as it sits along the picturesque Lieutenant River. I look forward to returning in warmer months and eating outside. The indoor dining area is pleasant, however, and nicely decorated, so even a meal here during colder months is rewarding.
