My wife and I were running errands in different dire4ctions and decided to meet at Prime 82. I ordered a Manhattan and my wife had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Our drinks were delayed due to the bartender spilling the ice!?!? The server said.
Our Server was Anna and was very attentive and professional. We had a second server who kept our water glasses filled but, I did not get his name. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Monday night with possibly four other tables filled. as well as a large group in a separate room.

I started with a house salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. It was a nice portion and I enjoyed it.

The Filet Mignon I ordered was done to my requested medium rare, with the top charred, the bacon wrap crisp and the center red and warm! Just like it is supposed to be. Kudos to Alex, the owner/chef (tonight, not always). The vegetables and risotto I had with the filet were good but not remarkable. I had a Louis Martini Cabernet with the meal which was a bit "Thinner" than the J. Lohr Cabernet my wife had. It is good to compare.

My wife had the vegetable Primavera and enjoyed it. Because she had the Chicken Vegetable "soup" (It was thick like a stew) first, she was unable to finish the Primavera but enjoyed what she had.

There is a four sided bar in the dining room that has a source of noise on other nights but, tonight was empty and did not affect our meal. On nights when the bar is full, quiet dining is not an option.

So, tonight we had a very enjoyable and tasty meal at Prime 82.

I was fortunate that Prime 82 delivered to my hotel room (behind the restaurant). I ordered Fish & Chips plus a salad from the Lunch menu. The food arrived on time and was hot. The person made sure there was no garlic in the salad dressing by giving me oil and vinegar instead, so service was good. The tomatoes were poor quality, surprising at this time of year while the lettuce was very fresh and not iceberg, a plus. The fish was lightly breaded (good) and plentiful. The fries were the thick steak-cut variety. The tartar sauce was institutional so not great quality. Based on all this, I would give them another try someday.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The happy hour Margarita was excellent. My wife had the chicken parm. which was delicious. I had the chicken marsala and enjoyed it very much. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. When we were seated I told her we were celebrating my wife's birthday . She brought Tiramasu to celebrate for dessert.

We are staying at Marriot next door so we had to go. Bar service was good and friendly. Waitress was also friendly and the menu pretty good. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was very good. The steak was over cooked and they did not charge us for it. I had the special which was halibut over rice with potatoes. It was pretty good but not great. Fish had no special taste and the rice was rice. Last guy had a salad and he seemed happy. Price was reasonable and overall a pleasant experience.
