Zinc is a mainstay among top restaurants in the restaurant city. The food is basically farm to table, always fresh and delicious. The shellfish, for example is delivered fresh to the chef's home! The menu is more than just seasonal. It changes with what's available and even with wine suggestions. In the heart of New Haven. Love the owners/chef, the staff and everything about Zinc.

We went to this restaurant based partly on the positive online ratings, but we found the food uninspiring, much to salty, and over-priced. There are better places in the vicinity.

Had lunch at Zinc. The service and food was outstanding. Loved their duck nachos and I had the shrimp fried rice.

The food was fresh and great balance of flavors. Prices were reasonable for the quality and the portions were good.

When I return, I plan on trying their dinner option.

The lunch menu had a predominantly Asian flare.

Donna Curran, the owner and visionary behind Zinc, has been at it for 19 years here. Her creativity, and commitment to fresh and local, continue to charm and inspire. She has hosted several private parties for my business recently and the attentiveness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the ambience of the venue have been a delight.
