Love this place.. Been coming here for years! Very hard working people. ALWAYS pleasant service with a smile. The place itself is not anything fancy just a whole in the wall located in downtown New Britain but the food and service is great!! The bisteak palomilla is soooo good

Thank lindatello

Everybody knows this is the best cuban-chinese-spanish restaurant in town. The word is superb. The food is excellent, the servings are generous. A family atmosphere.

Found this gem on a road trip back home to NYC. It was my first time trying Chinese-Spanish fusion and it did not disappoint. The nice Chinese man who took my order made some good recommendations. The squid ink fried rice was my personal favorite. My friends got the pork chop and Peruvian style sautéed beef and loved it. The mofongo was also on point. A little far from where I am, but I will definitely try to come back!

It seems to be a thing here in New Britain to combine Chinese takeout and Spanish food. Chinatown Express Kitchen is no exception having a menu that not only offers the usual American Chinese fare but also Spanish favorites. There is an ice cream bar as well.

I found the food to be under whelming and expensive for standard take out food. As example a small chicken and rice soup cost twice as much as the average cost at other local restaurants. The container was only 2/3 full and had only about two tablespoons of rice in it which was actually yellow Spanish rice not white rice. I saw them heat the soup with the chicken in it beyond boiling in a microwave causing the chicken to become incredibly tough and rubbery.

The place has a lots of tables, much more than your average takeout place, but was empty at weekday lunchtime. The staff there was not very pleasant. The restaurant is very untidy. It is overstuffed with all sorts of stuff covering every counter and corner. Not the cleanest. I won't be back and I can't recommend.
