Let me start off with this.... at first glance this place seemed nice and professional. With a fancy decor in the main lobby, to supposedly friendly front desk staff. But things turned for the worse at night. For instance: it's New Year's Eve, and there are party favors placed on tables. That's a gesture to use them right??? Nope that's not true. Some rude staff member named April threw a "4 yr old child" and her mother out of the bar because she was using the party maker. ***** a 4 year old***** So why put them on the table??? Not to mention they bought drinks there and not just hanging out. After which we are *** Elite customers*** and mentioned this then other staff members started being polite. If your gonna put party makers out and don't want them used, put a freakin sign up or don't put them out till later. ****** and there's more***** the pool area has plenty of signage stating ((((((No alcohol)))))) allowed. What do people do? Bring it in with kids and drink. No one cared. And did staff do anything? Nope. Our floor reeked of pot. Even though this is a "smoke free" floor or building. Did staff members care??? Nope. They asked us to relocate floors. ***** but when a child plays with the party noise maker just a few times she gets kicked out.****** even though we saw kids running in the bar with toy guns, and playing around. No one said anything. Not even the rude and inconsiderate anti child loving possibly bi polar bartender April, who was too busy paying attention to her friends who came to visit instead of guests. When the mother went back to grab another drink, this **** April**** gave her a nasty attitude and what did she say to the guest???? """ oh your out in the lounge now???""""" Really??? If I could I would have fired her or put her in her place Right on the spot. If we didn't live so far away we would have packed up and left right there. Get your act together, live up to the reputation of the Marriott business and teach your staff some manners. I'm done with this place. And may I also say for
The amount of money spent why doesn't the internet work??? Come on!!! We won't be returning here. And to mention also we used our Marriott reward points for two rooms. We wasted points and we are very disappointed on how we were treated.
