First time here and yet I cannot wait to return. I had the breakfast BLT.... excellent and it was served with the best home fries I’ve tasted in years. I mean I could have had a plate of just those. Service was friendly and prompt. So many items to explore I have to say again, can’t wait to return.

Upon walking in we were warmly greeted by a very polite server and most of the tables were occupied, always a good sign for a small local restaurant. We were torn over so many options for breakfast, which is served all day and lunch that looked equally tasty but our server helped to navigate the menu to make the best choices. The special “breakfast tacos” were delightful, fresh and it was comforting that they had so many gluten free options (pancake mix and bread). The sweet potato fries had confectionary sugar on top and were soft, cooked to perfection. My friend had the “The Hot Mess” but it was neat, tidy and yummy! Our waiter was excellent, he anticipated our needs and was very helpful.

You could tell that they connect with their customers, one of the chefs came out and sang Happy Birthday one of the regular customers, a sign of their appreciation. Thankfully they were open on Monday, they have changed their hours and Trip Advisor needs to update!

This is right across the street from the American Clock and Watch Museum. We were eager to go the museum so this seemed like a good fit. It turned out to be a very good choice. They close at two and we slipped in a shade before and they were still gracious and welcoming. We both had the Philly Cheese Steak which we enjoyed immensely. Perfectly seasoned beef with cheese onions and peppers served on a fresh grinder roll. Our server, Taylor was pleasant and accommodating. The cafe' is bigger then it looks as there are two rooms decorated with some interesting pieces as well as clocks in keeping with the museum. Perfect choice for lunch before or after the museum.

Apparently this “find” has been found! While visiting family in nearby Plainville I stumbled on this restaurant and we were so glad we did! It is a place you need to get to early. We were there on a Sunday at 8 and by 9 the line was out the door. It’s a clean and homey/cozy place. At our table we had oatmeal, kielbasa patty, fruit, a short stack (fluffy and yummy), omelette and potatoes (nicely seasoned) and a breakfast sandwich. Service was good and we would definitely return. Our family, who lives in the area was glad we visited and showed them a place they would never have known existed. They will return and bring friends. Nicely done.
