At a spur of the moment we decided to enter this restaurant for lunch. We had been walking around downtown Bethel on this lovely fall day. It was an off hour (after lunch and before dinner) we were the only 3 on the restaurant side the bar side had customers. We were seated by a lovely waitstaff woman. The menu was full of many unique entrees and appetizers and salads/ sandwiches. We ate a delicious butternut squash apple puree soup and enjoyed a delicious panini sandwich which came with either fried potatoes or salad. The sandwich was filling and the salad greens were fresh and crunchy!
Best part of the meal was dessert, we shared a chocolate fondu which was bought with pieces of fruit and fried dough. The chocolate was soo delicious we couldn't stop! The three of us laughed and enjoyed this so much! Our waitress came back several times to make sure everything
was ok and to tell us it was nice to hear us enjoying ourselves. She also prevented us from ordering two fondu desserts by being honest about their size being enough to share. This was very much appreciated. I will definitely return to this restaurant to try more entrees and desserts!
