This unit needs a lot of upkeep and TLC; TV needed three trips from Comcast to fix due to outdated cable/internet equipment, cables strung across the fireplace, the walls are scuffed, paint is peeling, carpets are dirty, toilets don't flush properly, screen doors are off the tracks, etc. For a weekend with college kids, it would be fine. For someone needing a longer term rental, it is a not fine. There are 21 stairs (not steps) to get to the condo so if you have small children or elderly, it would be difficult to access.
Location is walkable to Lionshead along the bike path and across the pedestrian bridge. You are also close to a trailhead for the north trail and Sandstone park. Bus stop is down the hill at the intersection of Red Sandstone and the north Frontage Road. The complex's entrance is off of Red Sandstone and not Vail View Drive despite the address. We drove around a bit even with GPS and figured it out when one of the photos matched the sign on Red Sandstone.
There is no onsite management or maintenance; the owner is remote so getting something addressed takes time as her 'contact' is in Denver. The vacation rental company, Evolve, stepped up when our situation became untenable and was very helpful.
