Comfortable condo within easy walking distance to Vail Village. The heating is a bit noisy, you don’t get a view (the unit is slightly below grade) and the bathroom could be updated, but if you want a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price with a great location by Vail Village, this is tough to beat. This is managed by Berkshire Hathaway, which is great to deal with.
spacious 1 bedroom close to lifts and close to village pre season discount made it a great deal.
I had a rental car but would easily stay there without a car as it is a short walk to all the shops and restaurants.
we loved our stay here! half the price but all the amenities of similar places in Vail. We enjoyed the feeling of home. Nice touches with the movie selection, board games, reading selection, etc. The kitchen has everything you'll need and having a coin laundry directly across the hall made our packing much lighter! The doors off to the back open up to a nice lawn with trees on the side of the creek with a table and chairs to enjoy lunch. Bed was comfortable, nice comforter and pillows as well.
Only issue was very minor. We could not find a parking pass left for us. It took 3 days and 3 phone calls to get one. In the meantime, they told us to put a sign on our dash with our name and room number. This worked fine, I just still worried I would get towed. We ran into one other parking issue, which was also minor. Instructions are to park wherever as long as marked vail trails east and does not say owner (even though each spot is marked with a specific unit number, they say this doesn't matter). we did get a not happy note on our car telling us to move one day because they were the owner of that unit. We double checked and that spot was not marked owner and was definitely part of vail trails east (when we called, the help line suggested that we might have accidentally parked next door). Perhaps they had just not updated the sign? No big deal, just had to move the car. I suspect these issues can be fixed before the next guest, I would not let this affect my decision to stay here. It really was a great stay. P.S. the helpline people always answered and seemed very helpful. It was a holiday weekend, so that may be why it took a few days to get the pass.
