We were booked into this place by a travel club who advertised it as a premier resort. When We arrived they had lost our gift basket and when it was located called us to retrieve it instead of delivering it to our room, not at all the hospitality of a premier resort. The carpets were coming up in places throughout the property. Walls were badly in need of paint. Swimming pool heater was broken, making it unusable. Spa controll knob had been removed, I'm guessing so it could be used on either switch. The arcade had no working games. The bar was dark and empty except for some empties left on a table, the breakfast area was also left dirty. The light switch in the room was hard to find, so We fought with the curtains to get some light. A drawer knob came off in my daughters hand. There was a hole in the stucco of the balcony. I shared an elevator with an employee (might have been an owner, since he seemed to live in the executive suite) who didn't bother to speak to me. The landscape was in need of a manicure. We didn't stay, but were able to get a refund and appology from the travel club. I feel for those who pay $100+ for a room and are bound by the late cancellation policy, they're being ripped off. I drove home, it took 4 hours, but I would have rather slept in my car than at this "resort".
