This motel is a little on the "campy" side, bit overall, the value is really high.
Pros- The beds were super clean, very comfortable and I seriously wanted to steal the pillows... The water pressure was awesome! The service was good; staff are small town folk that take pride in caring for you. They were all very sweet from booking to checking in, to the quick snack I grabbed at the bar. They have all the amenities you like in a three star or higher place like a frig, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, toiletries. They have direct tv, so there was a lot to choose from as far as shoes and movies.
Best pro? It is directly across the street from the fancy resort with the amazing pools. Literally, a parking lot to cross. And if you stay here, you will definitely have a better bed/pillows (I've stayed at both places). The cost of the room and the high end soak package (with robes and towels), is simply a far better value for your buck if that is a factor of priority for you, and they have an attached restaurant/bar.
Cons - the place is way outdated. Hall entry doors from the parking lot don't function properly and a remodel of the common areas is seriously due. You can hear others in the motel pretty readily as it just wasn't built all that well. If you don't mind the...This motel is a little on the "campy" side, bit overall, the value is really high.

Overall, I'd definitely stay here again... I slept great enjoyed the pools immensely and just relaxed. However, next time I'll either buy or steal a pillow or two. lolMore
