We love Blue Skies Inn tucked amidst the pines and along the river! We have been there several times and have stayed in a different room each time..different seasons give different views of their gardens . Each room is unique and charming .Very very clean. The hot breakfast left at your door step in the am is delicious with hot egg casseroles, muffins ..juice and a thermos of rich hot coffee. We highly recommend this exceptional and unique Bed and Breakast.

Room Tip: Each one has a different theme ..some are upstairs however ..their website gives very good descriptions.

Thank you for visiting us again - we hand-painted our ten suites on different themes to entertain guests each time they visit. Sometimes a guest wants to choose the same suite again and again, and that is one of the sweet stories about our B&B. Years ago, the travel editor at the Denver Post wrote a lovely review of our inn which had an accompanying color photo of our Sunset suite. Some months later, a gentleman called to say that he had saved the article, lost the article, then found the article again. He wanted to book _that_ suite. (We'll give the guests aliases here so the couple's family members will not be shocked - we'll call them George and Edwina.)

The couple chose our Sunset suite time and time again over nine years, visiting several times each year. Edwina loved the roses over the bed, George would explain. If Sunset had been booked by another guest for a date that he wanted, George would ask us to move the other couple, and we'd laugh about it. On every visit, they would go dancing late into the night, Edwina wearing the corsage that George brought. They loved the giant jacuzzi tub in Sunset suite and once brought photos they'd taken of each other on the last visit, covered up to the neck in bubbles. It was Edwina who wrote the romantic notes about their relationship in our guest book with *almost* enough details to make us blush.

As innkeepers, it's sweet to hear that your romantic inn has been the site of growing, enduring relationships. "George and Edwina" dated here for nine years, the last time celebrating their 92nd birthdays. Being innkeepers has taught us much - love endures at any age!

Quiet and serene with beautiful gardens to sit and drink a glass of wine and watch the deer. Great breakfast basket delivered to your door. All of this in the heart of Manitou Springs—what a find!

The room was spacious and clean. We had lots of hot water for showers and quiet hours ensured a good night’s rest. Beautifully decorated with the resident innkeepers art and creative touches.

Close to shopping and restaurants and the cog railway and Garden of the God’s. Convenient, lovely and affordable.

We are pleased that you enjoyed our resident deer who people-watch here while they munch on our shrubberies. Blue Skies Inn seems to be a quiet retreat for them as well as our human guests! Often in the springtime we will be visited by baby foxes or wee rabbits as well as many birds who enjoy our waterfalls and nest here. This Autumn, we were a migrating stopover site for thousands of Painted Lady butterflies as they flew through Colorado - so many that they showed up ten miles wide on weather radar! Thanks for visiting us.

We stopped at Blue Skies for a couple days during our trip through Colorado. This was our favorite hotel of the trip. The property is absolutely beautiful, and our room backed up to a green space where mule deer apparently congregate. We loved seeing them outside our window. The decor wasn't what I would have chosen personally, but it was extremely well done for the style they chose. The breakfast muffins were to die for!!! I loved that they delivered breakfast via picnic basket. That was a very cute touch. Everything was just great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perhaps this guest dropped by when our rooms were very heavily booked and room choice was limited - we have a whimsically wide variety of decor in our suites, from hand painted flowers to our colorful underwater-themed suite. There is "something for everybody" as the saying goes, and we enjoy creating memorable interiors!

Oh, Autumn is *definitely* the time of year when our local deer herd members stop by to munch our shrubberies, all the better to make adorable fawns come Spring. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us!

We recently stayed at Blue Skies Inn and had a wonderful time. It is located near the Garden of the Gods as well as downtown Manitou Springs and Pikes Peak. The inn keepers made our stay comfortable and were always accommodating. Their restaurant recommendations (The Mason Jar and Coquette’s are worth checking out. )The generous breakfast is delivered directly to your suite so you can eat in your jammies and in your own schedule. Our suite, Ferdinand’s Garden, was a delight. Very spacious and beautifully decorated with hand painted tiles and walls (by the inn keeper!). We will definitely return when in the area again.

Bed & Breakfast... and dinner!! While we don't serve dinner at our inn, we know that our guests are looking for the perfect restaurant so we try to give the best advice possible about where to dine. Gluten-free? Vegetarian? Fun Baja Californian? Perhaps a place for a family reunion dinner? Maybe a place with killer giant cupcakes for dessert? We are happy to help find a memorable restaurant. We're happy that you enjoyed our local dining!

We stayed just 2 nights in this beautiful B&B and would not hesitate to stay there again when we get a chance to go back to Manitou Springs. We stayed in the suit called 'Dot Matrix.' The suit was large, the bathroom was amazing with a large shower. Breakfast was very good and delivered to our door every morning around 8 AM in a basket with everything we needed. A great filling breakfast to start our day off right for a full day of hiking and touring the area. Garden of the Gods Park was fantastic - so beautiful. There are many things to sight see close by and the quaint town or Manitou Springs is within walking distance for a great dinner or drink. Be sure and take a water bottle or cup of some kind to try out some of the natural spring water you will find throughout the city. We would definitely stay here again in one of the several beautiful spacious suits and would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone going to the Manitou Springs area.

We are happy that you enjoyed your vacation time with us! Thanks for giving other visitors great tips about things to do here in Manitou Springs - a walking tour of our many mineral springs is fun. You probably noticed that the water at each spring tasted slightly different from the others. The taste is related to the depth of each spring so the Iron Springs, being deep, has a taste of iron while another spring in town is perfect for making lemonade. All of the springs are related to our underground aquifer which is a karst cave system. The science of our water is fascinating. The water in the well at Blue Skies Inn has been carbon-tested at 13,000 years old, so Mother Earth has been working on that water for a long time! Thanks for visiting!
