We stayed at the Comfort Inn on Sept. 23rd. First of all I think the hotel is over price for the room that you get. The mattress needed to be replace.....my husband and I kept rolling to the center of it and it was very soft. Did not get a good night sleep. But, the room was very clean.

Be careful before staying here. They charge cleaning fees for smoking when you didn't smoke in the room. After days of trying to get the manager, Christina, to take your phone calls, she offers no proof, just says it smelled of smoke. We won't ever stay at a Comfort, Clarion, Quality, or any of the others in the organization. There are too many good, reputable places to stay.

The registration paper that you signed clearly stated that we are 100% non-smoking and charge of a $250 non refundable fee will be charged if a room has been smoked in. Upon your departure we found evidence of smoke and ashes in your room.

We stayed at this hotel on our vacation. It was so nice to have the chili at night so we didn't have to leave the hotel for dinner. The room was the cleanest room we have ever stayed in and the beds were so comfortable. We loved the big breakfast and the kids enjoyed the pool. We didn't use the exercise room but the equipment looked brand new. Upon check out the front desk lady Christina was most helpful in giving us directions and getting us maps to some of the local attractions. We stay in alot of hotels and this one was by far the very best hotel I have seen. I wish every hotel was like this. We will be staying here every time we visit Grand Junction.

The room we stayed in was very nice. You can tell the owners recently put a lot of money into remodeling these rooms. The staff was very friendly and accomodating during our stay. The pool is the nicest pool area we have seen in any hotel in Grand Junction.

We were charged the full price of our stay on our credit card that was held twice. When confronted in a friendly mannor, she was very rude... and told me there was nothing that could be done to take the extra money off my card for their mistake. Also, my husband paid for our rooms in cash the first night. The manager, "Kristina Gordon" told us they pre authorize our card for insidentals...but why twice. She also said that if it was a debit card it would take 14 days to come off of our account. So, we paid $221 cash, then charged $221 twice on our account. So we are supposed to be left without any money for two weeks. Then I called my bank, and thank goodness it should come off our account in 4 days or we can file a dispute and get all of our money back. In the end we won, but the customer service that was given long distant to us was outrageous and very disrespectful to the people that keep their company in business. All hotels take a credit card upon check in for incedentals. When you have 2 rooms the card gets pre-authorized for each room. This is not a charge but a hold on the funds. The bank that you use determines how long it is held but most say with a debit card that it can possibly take up to 15 days for the authorization to be dropped. I personally offered to call you bank and discuss this matter to see if we could return the funds earlier. I am sorry that was not sastisfactory.

Please know that your comments and suggestions are extremely valuable to us. Feedback such as yours assists us in improving our service and property on a daily basis. In addition. Please know that your comments and issues will be addressed.
