Friendly staff, great breakfast, and be sure to ask for a guest pass to the Crossroads fitness center if you have time to workout. Good location with a quick walk to restaurants and a local brewery. Only bad part was a $6 fee per day for parking.

We were driving through the Rockies, and planned on staying in Grand Junction but weren't sure we'd make it. This hotel had multiple rooms available when we checked earlier that evening, so we decided when we were about an hour away (~8PM) to book the room, and did so using the hilton app. No big deal. Got our confirmation, the app said we could check in electronically, etc. I left a note about our late check-in, our dog, etc. The hotel cancelled our reservation 30-60 minutes later, and we received no notice of this electronically. NONE - Hilton, WTF?. A woman from the hotel called to say that the hotel was completely booked, had been for months, all the hotels she knew of were full, and she was sorry for any confusion and wanted to make sure we were aware.

As she said, there were no other remotely nearby pet-friendly hotels with availability. A room was available again on the app, and so I called Hilton corporate to find out if that room was actually available. It definitely was. The person on the phone in another country could ensure that the hotel had rooms available, but the person physically inside the hotel couldn't? He booked it for us. The room was definitely available because we slept in it that night. I don't know what the problem was. I don't understand why our only notification that the reservation was cancelled was a desk clerk calling us. The room was nice, and they had neutrogena shower products. Did it balance out my sobbing in a Wendy's parking lot because we were exhausted and couldn't have a place to stay, even though they actually had the room available? We were using a gov rate, FTR.

I'm posting this as a warning that 1) for a town that is the only civilization for miles, it is sometimes hard to find a room 2) HILTON, if a reservation gets cancelled, you should electronically notify the customer of that. COME ON. BASICS. 3) if anyone else had this experience and didn't share because they thought it was so outlandish, you aren't alone.

The majority of Hamptons we stay at are ones that are generally the same format. You pull into a covered area, checking, unload, the go park. This one is a little different. There is a small 10 minute parking for checking in then you have to drive around back to parking. Additionally, they tag on $6 to your bill for the parking. Other than that, the hotel conforms to the format we have come to expect.

First time to Grand Junction & love this part of town. We always look for the historic down town area & the Hampton is the first hotel on your way down Main St. Room is very nice, updated, looks new, smells new, modern bathroom & very clean. The beds are always TOP notch. It's hard to find a more comfortable bed than this on the road. Pricy but worth it. Covered parking, breakfast & excellent WiFi
Location, location, location..... Walk to restaurants, shops & bars.
