It is a little difficult to find where the trail to the grave begins. It is a beautiful hike but a little steep for some people. When you reach the top it has a great view and exploring the grave area is interesting. Well worth the hike.

This is a worth while hike, cool little trail that goes up to an old cemetery, with nice scenery you can kind of tell this is an older pioneer place. Some of the grave stones are old, back in the 70s we use to ride motor cycles uo there and beyond.I have read and heard that Docs not really buried where the headstone is but down the street under a house! & I dare anyone to go up the trail on holloween !Also there was a flood quite a few years ago up by the cemetery, and afew bones were washed down!

If you enjoy nostalgic stories of the old west, well a visit to Doc Holliday and Kid Curry’s grave sights will find you curious and possibly looking up your “old west” facts.
It’s an uphill hike with a phenomenal panoramic view of the city.
There are several benches set up for people to stop and rest set up along the way.
I too ended up googling my western facts about Potters field.
It was worth the hike to me.

Visited the grave of Doc Holliday and Kid Curry. It is a bit of a hike getting to the area. It is steep in a few areas but otherwise it’s not too treacherous. It was slippery in spots due to mud and light snow so be sure to wear good shoes according to the weather. There were markers to point out the graves which made it easier to locate. Also, there are informational signs posted with good historical stories about the men. This is a good site for fans of Doc Holliday.
