Stayed 4 nights to attend a wedding and sight see. Unfortunately had a room over the lobby entrance and bar. Was kept awake a few nights by loud groups outside. Discovered our window mechanism was broken, so it didn't latch tightly, which contributed to the issue. Our room light shades were old with a few rips, wall paper in bathroom was curled in a few spots, and bathroom wasn't cleaned one night. The hallway a.c. was set at 50 degrees, so hallway was cold. Told the front desk about it, but no action taken. Hallway carpet quite dirty too. And, the leather lounger in the public lounge area had a huge rip in it. None of these things were big issues, but for a supposed first class hotel, it just looked a bit tired.

Nothing special about this place. Nothing horrible. Great location in the valley. Lots of new development for restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Relatively short drives to ski resort areas by I70 or Rte 6.

This is a lovely small inn with fairly large rooms, very comfortable beds, and is located in a great area for walking to restaurants, bars & along the river. We arrived very late but we're still greeted warmly. Had trouble with the room key so had to have it re-keyed. Otherwise, a good place to rest and such a beautiful view of the Rockies and the village.

Stayed there only one night...drove over from Aspen for a wedding reception. The staff was very friendly and was able to get a early check in . The hotel is not fancy , but clean and very convenient to everything in town. Woody's bar is located next to the lobby which is a great place to meet friends and relax

Room Tip: try to get on river side 3rd floor

We've been here many times, but this time maybe we just ended up with the wrong room. The beds were older and uncomfortable and there was no refrigerator (I guess I just thought all rooms had them) so we were fairly disappointed. I guess next time we'll make sure to get a room with a king bed, or stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: Don't get a room with two queen beds.
