So the hotel itself was excellent. Modern, clean, great staff, great location. All the good things. But their restaurant was not as enjoyable and pretty much brought down the overall 3 night experience for me.
First, the restaurant was indeed modern, clean, and had a good staff. But nobody was eating there. The town did seem to be fairly well populated with visitors and the downtown area was busy during the day ... could everyone else be eating in town? Anyway, if there were half a dozen tables at both dinner and breakfast, in total, I'd be surprised.
Maybe it was the uninspired menu which was either the third choice corporate menu or cobbled together by a cook instead of a chef. There were just too few choices, and those were standard. One hamburger, one fish, one pasta, one steak and something else.More
