I've been here twice now. The first time I visited was with a group of school kids who had a blast here and the most recent time was with my teen nephew after the Mint tour disappointed. This is a quick stop rather than an extensive museum, but it is free and has some neat things to see and do. The souvenir bag of shredded cash never disappoints. Adults need a photo ID to enter.

The Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank is a one room museum in downtown Denver. It has an audio history of US currency through your own cell phone. There are some activities for kids and of course, the best part - a free bag of money when you leave!

Happened to be walking by. Its a free museum. Its small but cool to see all the bills you never see like the $5,000. Theres also all the historic bills. Its a small place take 10 minutes and check it out. You do have to go through metal detectors.

This was an interesting little museum showing the history of the Federal Reserve. If you’re in the area looking to burn a half hour, it’s a nice stop. It’s free and I got a bag of shredded dollars as a souvenir.

Very well done history of money in the US. Exhibits were interesting and very informative. Regretted not taking a bag of shredded money as a souvenier.
