The spa is AMAZING. I have visited many spas over the years and love this one, especially the nail salon. Samantha, Suzanne, and Mindy are the BEST! Spa guests should ALWAYS have access to the pool but doesn't happen in the summer(this needs to change), something to consider, as well as the parking cost. I have stayed and the rooms and beds are amazing as well as the food and drinks. Service is top notch! With the exception of the pool, not the service, just the access. My husband conducts many business meetings but it doesn't seem to count to our access. Love the hair salon as well as well as facials.

Room Tip: All rooms are amazing

We booked one night for $439 through Amex Platinum, which entitles us to a room upgrade if available. When checking in, I asked the front desk if the room they gave us is an upgrade. The answer: yes. But it was not, so I called them, and then the answer was no, there's no upgrade, as the upgrade allowed faced construction. OK, but don't lie to me.
Then they offered a suite, saying it was $1500, they would give it to me for $639, an extra $200, but the woman said, it is still half price. So I took it. To discover on their website the normal price is $819 not $1500. Another lie.
This is a Four Seasons hotel, but I am left feeling ripped off, and like I dealt with a used car salesman. Not acceptable.

Good things: we had a beautiful corner room on the 14th floor. Great views of the mountains, the performing arts center, the convention center. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent cocktails at the Edge lounge bar. HD TV, though no premium channels we could find.

Problems: turndown service consisted of us getting a bottle of tap water by our bed-no turn down, no shade adjustment, no bathroom cleanup. The door to the toilet is huge and comes within 2 inches of the toilet, making for awkward entry and exit. Noisy kids next door partying until we fell asleep, alarms going off for 15+ minutes at 530AM in nearby rooms. No one answered the phone at the front desk or at the Edge restaurant at 10AM.

Resolution: we did mention some of the problems at check out and were given a discount on our bill, so good for Four Seasons. But having stayed at other Four Seasons locations in San Francisco, Hawaii, DC, and Chicago we found some of the issues most atypical for such a fine hotel chain. The Denver location could use a tune up.

The weekend before Christmas we stopped in to the bar to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday to enjoy an after dinner cocktail. Having been there numerous times (and him having been in an executive position with the company years past) we were absolutely taken back with the condition, service and overall neglect on this busy night. Dirty tables, short staff and extreme lack of considerate customer service had us appalled and feeling like we were in a rowdy sports bar vs. a Four Seasons hotel bar as we had been accustomed to. And to top it off, there was no managerial support to help bail out the poor employees. Not sure if we will ever return.

We spent several nights at the Four Seasons in downtown Denver in Mid-December. It was a great time as the hotel was outstanding and we enjoyed several attractions downtown. The staff was very welcoming and made us feel special. We ended up with a corner room and a amazing view of the city and fabulous Christmas Lights. Heated pool gave refreshing feel with a little snow fall too. Food was excellent, very well prepared and a good portion. Room was top shelf, great bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We would do it again in a heartbeat!!

Room Tip: Corner rooms have an outstanding view. Breakfast was amazing!
