Another of many good experiences. The server was very pleasant, as always. We started with pisco sours, then had the Cebiche mixto appetizer followed by Bisteck a Lo Pobre 17 and Camaron Cuzco 17 entrees, all excellent. Initially very quiet and uncrowded at 1800, then louder with a couple more groups insistent upon Monday-night football. We enjoy this spot as a personal reminder of Peru, and recommend it, while not claiming to be experts. We've never been able to make reservations.

It was a bit out of our way but decided to make the drive. We weren't disappointed. Most of all things we ordered were nice an tasty. The Pisco Sours were good and refreshing. Our waitress was nice, friendly and was great at taking our orders without writing anything down, impressive.

My overall opinion was that the portions were very small on the salad size and not worth the money, although tasty.

This is my first time trying Peruvian food and it was really good. I had the pescado al mojo de ajo, baked fish in garlic sauce with steamed rice. It is pricey but worth the money it's great, very flaky and the rice is so good I want to learn how to make it. My husband made a great choice with the Bistec a lo pobre, a thin steak on seasoned rice with a fried egg, it was really really good. Our friends ordered Cebiche mixto and a stuffed potato, it was all good, the potatoe was mashed filled with fresh ceviche and flash fried. Our dishes were 15 each and my husband's was 17. The service was great also. Great place will be back for sure

We were hoping for a little more traditional and tasty food and a better atmosphere. The menu on their website listed several dishes that would have been nice to try, such as Aji de Gallina; however, the menu at the restaurant was no longer the same as the website. The Cebiche de Pescado was very spicy and was not citrusy at all. The Lomo Soltado had a decent flavor but was light on meat and the sauce was watery instead of a rich flavorful gravy. The Pisco Sours didn't taste like they contained much Pisco and were not topped with bitters, but instead a sprinkle of some type of brown spice, not sure if it was nutmeg or cinnamon. The restaurant was empty at 7:15 on a Thursday evening and it just seemed like they were waiting to close for the evening. We went here for a birthday celebration because we really wanted Peruvian food in honor of a previous birthday visit to Peru, but we left feeling disappointed and like we paid way too much for a mediocre meal.

this was an unplanned visit as a nearby restaurant had way too long a wait so we stopped in here. Has a nice seating area outside, we have a very friendly waitress who makes the BEST pisco sour! Recommend the paella but there are lots of other things as well. A welcome and unplanned treat.
