The Children's Museum was packed during Spring Break but my 3 year old nephew had a ball nonetheless. We also signed-up for and participated in a class at the Teaching Kitchen - the instructors really do a fine job guiding the little ones.

While my 9 year old will still go to the museum, it really is much more enjoyable for my 5 year-old. That being said, for that age group, it is spectacular. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits, so on a nice day prepare for kids to get wet and sandy! My daughter loves the building center and the arts room. I always try to sign up for the free cooking class. It is hands on and great recipes.

The museum is a fixture in downtown Denver for families and the updating over the past few years have put it back in league with major cities like Boston and Chicago. Hands on exhibits teach kids about science in a fun, hands on way. The climbing tower indoors and the outdoor play area are quintessential Colorado .
Colorado Honor Band - our kid's amazing non-school music organization - had their annual fund raiser at the museum and it was great! Downtown parking is free and easy to find - such a rarity - and the views of downtown are first rate. Facilities were clean and well laid out. CHBA seemed happy with the crew they worked for and we loved the indoor-outdoor space.

The Museum has something that caught each family member interest. From the amazing geology and mineral and precious rocks exhibit to the space odyssey to the health expo, everyone in the family had a great time at the Museum.

We love this museum and when it's hot outside the outdoor water area is perfect for kids. This place is good for kids and adults of all ages and always has something new and fun going on to keep guests engaged.
