This was our first visit to The Bronze Empire. We’ve had Hot Pot in many places in Asia as its one of my wife’s favorites. We had lunch - my wife had Tom Yum broth and I had the traditional spicy broth. Both were very good. We shared a variety of ingredients; beef, pork belly, tofu and clams, along with some vegetables and noodles. I think we had 8 in total which was enough for the two of us. Unlike some other hot pot places, the broth was flavorful which added to the meal rather than just being a cooking liquid. Don’t forget to create your own dipping sauce from the sauce bar.

The staff was also friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

This was unlike any other hot pot places we’ve ever been too. It was very unique. The servers are super helpful and kind. Also quite funny. They help make suggestions for you to make it easier for you. We ordered the Kobe fried rice and it was BOMB! So good would highly recommend it! The soup brotha were very good too. We came near the end of the night - close to last call — and not once did they rush us to finish quickly. Should def try this place.

This place is excellent for both vegans and meat eaters. The food is fresh and it is great value for money. There were 4 of us and the trick is to order two combination hot pots and two broths then load up on a couple of extra protein and carb sides. The combination hot pots come with the vegetables and tofu served on a separate plate and there is plenty to share between four. We came out after three hours incredibly full, and three drinks to the wind at just $45 a head.

The diners joining us had eaten Hot Pot many times in Oregon and endorse the Bronze Empire as very good. We tried 3 broths, and decided that the mushroom was the favorite. The combination platter was suggested by our waiter, and we added additional items to our liking. The table burners are efficient, and kept the broth boiling, since I prefer my meat and vegetables to stew together. The glass noodles, one of my favorites, are a healthy mung bean alternative to typical rice. The waiter was attentive, and the time to dine was appropriate. It seems that one could make this what you wish -- a long drawn out social event, or a relaxing dinner. Either way, we are looking forward to our next visit, with a list of friends we would like to share Hot Pot with.

My wife and I are fans of Hot Pot. We were introduced to it during our travels thru China. This restaurant is pretty authentic. The waitstaff was very professional Amy explained very well what our choices were and suggested a combination plate. Unique experience if your are unfamiliar with Hot Pot. Portions are plentiful. One combination plate with an appetizer was enough for two. Try it, you will like it. Great idea for 2 or three couples. Have fun.
