My husband and I went to east side bistro for valentine 's day this year and had an amazing time. We are both vegetarians and they presented us with beautiful entrees, very tasty and unique.
The gin martini 's went down way to easy ! We had a wonderful time at east side , cozy atmosphere and lovely staff. We will be back!

The food is great!! Sunday brunch is fantastic. From 5-6:00 they offer half price entrees, which is perfect before a show.

A small, quiet restaurant with large windows. The dishes are inventive e.g. the Caesar salad is grilled with flan, white anchovies and lemon vinaigrette. The chicken cachiatore has seared breast, braised thigh, house made tagliatelle and sautéed broccolini. Nothing plain- the maple
cured duck breast has confit duck leg, with Beluga lentils and garden peas. All dishes are
properly prepared with appealing presentation. Wine list is reasonably priced with a Malbac
Domaine Jean Bousquat 2011 at $38. Service is attentive and knowledgable. Be prepared
for an elegant dining experience.

The servers here are great, very attentive, and helpful in explaining the menu. The food was definitely good, but it seems like the older people in our group generally enjoyed it more than the younger people in our group. Some of us found the menu a little exotic--mussels, wild boar ribs, and duck liver were a few of the things that jumped out as "strange" to me. The vegetarian options were extremely limited, and the salad I ordered was just okay.
