It's a bit out of the way, but if you are a fan of western art, it's worth the trip. And I think it's free.

“Fun, free western art museum.”
Reviewed 26 November 2011

A bit off the beaten path, but not badly hidden. Fun statuary out on the lawn. Mostly western realism/idealism, a few more abstract pieces but that's not what people are looking for in their western art. A very enjoyable 1.5 or 2 hours!

“One of the ost wonderful collections of western art we have seen and it is free to see.”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

Beautiful western art and well presented. The attached gift store that sells the famour Leanin Tree cards is fabulous. It is fun to see many of the original works of art in the gallery that are on the greeting cards. Definitely worth a visit. We loved it.

“interesting outdoor statues and indoor paintings and statues”
Reviewed 11 November 2011

This is a really neat place to stop. Outside, they have a lot of bronze type statues (mostly Native Americans and native animals), some that your little kids can even sit on (like a donkey and a saddle) to take pictures, which is fun for the little ones. The rattlesnake looked very real. Inside is an art gallery with many realistic outdoor scenes (a lot of paintings of native animals and scenic locations) and some smaller statues. The paintings were very impressive. The outside art is much more kid friendly than the inside, especially for small 2 year olds, but it was a fun stop. Its also one block away from Celestial Seasonings (another fun place to go). They have a big gift shop too. It was worth the stop. And its free too.
