Our first visit won't be our last! The menu is varied from healthy to decadent, but every dish we had (scallops, various crepes, pasta, and soufle) was delicious. The service was excellent--friendly and attentive, but not hovering or pushy. It is a wheelchair accessible restaurant with plenty of parking right outside. The background music was lovely but quiet enough so that it was hearing aid friendly. This is the perfect place for a romantic evening, a special occassion, or just a delicious meal with friends of all ages.

We have dined at Le Gourmet for Lunch several times and Dinner on numerous occasions. The food is excellent. The shrimp crepes are delicious. The béchamel sauce is yummy. Today we had Pork osso Buco for Lunch was 12.95 with carrots and rich whip potato. My husband had Split Pea soup like my mother use to make. It is a hidden jewel.

This family owned little hole in the wall French place is amazing! The foi gras is great. They are so good with veggies. The carrots were my favorite. The lobster bisque and the soufflé dessert was the best! You can tell that they really enjoy what they do. Will definitely be back soon!

For those of you that mourned the loss of Upland's Café Provencal to a Japanese Sushi Restaurant--good news! The food is back-not quite the same atmosphere-but some of the same classic dishes. In the same spot as Le Bistro, Le Gourmet has opened with the same flavor, many of the same classic dishes, and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. A place you feel comfortable going casual, but still receive an excellent meal. We went with a friend, who ordered the two tornadoes, filets in two different types of sauces-highly recommended. I had the Orange Roughy-excellent. Be sure to order the soufflé at the beginning of the meal (it takes 45 minutes). If you are looking for an inexpensive night out-this is not necessarily the place-though you can get crepes under $20. It is more of a dining experience-good food, good wine, good service and that nice warm glow when you leave.
