We stayed for 3 nights. Fantastic location within minutes of the seafront. Breakfast is included. The room was very clean and had everything you would need. The staff were very welcoming and helpful..

Just spend a couple of nights here. We have always stayed here many times in the past. This time I found the carpets nasty and very smelly, and the beds lumpy and saggy needing replaced. Pillows were old. When you spend $250 a night, I don't want to smell a funky carpet, a smell that clings to your clothing.

I stayed at the Seaway Inn last week for two nights and it was wonderful! Big room, comfy bed, great shower and nice breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is right across the street from the beach, close to the boardwalk and even closer to the wharf. Very pet-friendly too! I am coming back in August.

Room Tip: If you want the view, take the second floor.

My husband and I just returned from a trip down the California Coast. We stayed in Santa Cruz at the Seaway Inn and truly enjoyed it. We arrived into town a bit early and upon calling the hotel, the manager, Stephanie said our room was ready and we could come over to check in. She was so sweet and out room was wonderful (see photos). Very spacious king sized room with an ocean view (which I paid only $6 more for). Our room was #227 and had a nice view of the ocean and boardwalk from our shared balcony (which included nice chairs to sit outside and enjoy). Also had
great cable and wifi. Breakfast was continental and included waffles, cereals, yogurt, etc. All around, we felt it was a very nice value and a great location. I have included photos of our spacious room and the view from our room.

Room Tip: We paid only #6 more for an ocean view. Worth it. We had room 227

Hotel is just a block away from beach and Boardwalk. We were on a bottom floor and I think the top floor is ocean view. We had a great view of palm trees and some beach. The room was cute and the bed/pillows/ comforter was cozy!!!!!! The bathroom was updated with a large dual head shower! Breakfast had boiled eggs, waffles, various cereal, various breads, and bagels w/ cream cheese. Fruit, juices, milk, coffee, and tea. Plus yogurt!
Price- we received the walk in rate of $160- which is anywhere from $70-$150 cheaper than other hotels in area. Hotel personnel was very friendly. Stay here!
