“Our first disappointing visit.”

We have eaten at Mandarin Wong's on several occasions. Our most recent visit was a disappointment. The Three Flavors Sizzling Rice Soup, the small version, had a few shrimp but no beef and very little chicken. The Three Flavors Delight had very generous portions of all three but the flavor didn't seem quite right. We'll go again, hoping this trip was an outlier.

A colleague at work recommended this small eatery and it DID NOT disappoint. A friend and I decided to get our chinese on and favored this gem minutes off the 95 at Lyons in Santa Clarita. Food portions were great, prices reasonable, and service was very attentive. The food itself was tasty, arrived at the table hot, and there was a large enough selection for anyone to be able to pick from. If you aren't sure...don't hesitate to ask, they're happy to recommend a dish and that too won't disappoint - well it didn't in our case that's for sure. I just moved to the area and am so happy to have found this place...it's going to be my #1 go to in the area. Bon appetite!

We went here on the recommendation of a friend. The restaurant is on the smaller side and has a wait staff of 2. The food was okay, nothing special. We had broccoli beef, kung pao pork, walnut shrimp, and orange chicken. The food was on the bland side and had little to no spice. We also ordered spring rolls....pretty basic, but decent. The food was just okay. Honestly, it is on par with Panda Express, except at twice the price. The service at the restaurant was mediocre. We will not return to this restaurant, not because it is bad (because it isn't), but because it just wasn't great.

We were a group of 6 looking for Chinese. Found this place, but they were too busy for us. We said we'd do take out, but were staying in a hotel. The host said no problem! We all chose a different entree from the $12.95 per person family menu. While waiting for it, a couple of us stayed inside while the rest went out. The host (wish I knew his name) was like the Tasmanian Devil's swirl - he never slowed sown. He took called in orders on 2 different phones, greeted people as they came in, did some busing of tables, took care of the payments, and all the while was the kindest person with a great disposition. Took about 20 minutes or so, but we received the bags of food, soup, extra styrofoam containers to use as plates and off we went. The only "bad" thing was the food wasn't labeled, but we ended up sampling from all the dishes, so it worked out well. There was a ton of food that we had lunch the next day for 6. I don't know if they take reservations, but I'd call ahead - they were busy & GOOD!

Super friendly and great lunch menu. You can not ask for a better deal and a more tasty meal. So much I had two lunches for the price of one!
