We just spent 4 nights in a Queen-Queen suite with sofabed and were very comfortable. Although it was beside I-5 and across from Six Flags Magic Mountain, it was very quiet in the room even facing the interstate. The front desk staff (especially Silvia) were very helpful and went out of their way to be extra nice with extra cookies, room choice, etc. and were always friendly. The housekeeping service was always good. We were there to visit family nearby and it was very convenient to Santa Clarita: restaurants, shopping, the interstate.
For us, the downside was the crowded breakfast area in the mornings (and we ate at different times from 7am to 9am and always found it crowded). There were so many people there apparently for Six Flags that the breakfast area always had a wait for seating. Also, the food offered was the same four mornings in a row and really needed more protein items besides sausage (ie., no eggs, no bacon and also no potatoes). But it was a hot breakfast. We have previously stayed in the area before at an Embassy Suites that we liked but this was very pleasant and a good value.More
