Italian Cuisine - NOT in the American tradition of smothering with cheese and sauce. Light-handed, regional, authentic. Pungent Caesar salad, beef carpaccio sliced so thin it practically melts into your fork (served with arugula, Parmesan, capers, lemon and olive oil). Good Neopolitan style pizzas. Best Vongole (spaghetti with clams-though I always like a tiny pinch of red pepper flakes in mine - but you can add those on your own). If you like "pink" sauce (Vodka sauce), their is sublime. But it's not just the food...from the first time we walked in, we were treated so graciously; as if we had been long-time customers! This is the best restaurant of any type in the area. Speaking of which-it is definitely a destination restaurant - in the middle of nowhere, on a tiny side street. You gotta know your food is excellent to choose a location so off-the-beaten-track! Gluten free options and child friendly. Mangia!!
