If what you are looking for is a super clean, well-managed, RV resort staffed with friendly front desk folk, diligent custodians and hardworking groundskeepers, located in a beautiful spot overlooking the Pacific Ocean north of Santa Barbara, having plenty of bicycling opportunities on county roads, lovely beaches within a quarter mile, immaculate modern bathroom facilities, and a fine swimming pool sporting first-rate poolside lounging, you're gonna love this manicured RV park. We shall return.

Well, when you drive in you see the sign for their massage studio...need I say more. But I will...This is a great park of about 80 sites. I recommend the upper row as it backs up to a natural landscape hill and has views of the ocean. The park is new and the buildings and pool are first rate. Location is also excellent. It's within easy driving distance of Santa Barbara CA. a must see for any California trip. Also the camp resort next door has a great restaurant and there is a nice trail connecting the two parks. And if that isn't enough, this park is right across the street from El Capitan State park and beach.

We recently stayed at Ocean Mesa for 3 nights and thought it was one of the best camp resort we ever experienced. The staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating and the sites were very clean and maintained. The shower & bath area was always kept super clean, the pool was just the right temperature. I am anxious to return to enjoy another stay at this great discovery.

This weekend we were invited to a Vintage Trailer Rally at Ocean Mesa camping resort. The event was electric with things to do all weekend. Especially fun was the PUTT PUTT golf tournament at each campsite. The campground staff made everyone feel welcome, and we were surprised by the four huge chocolate chip cookies given when we checked into Ocean Mesa. The resort was super clean, the swimming pool sparkled and trash cans were emptied before they were even full. The campground was immaculate and the facilities were very modern including the pedestals for the electrical hookups. Sunday morning, we walked across the canyon to the El Capt. Store and little restaurant. They served wonderful coffee and a delicious eggs benedict. I would highly recommend Ocean Mesa for your next adventure. No RV? Not a problem, they have cabins and yurts just next door at El Capt. Canyon. Same owners. How often do you visit a facility and see the owners milling about asking if they can help with anything and how you are enjoying their resort? Roger and Robin......... you are special and we look forward to visiting again soon. Another Vintage Trailer rally? I certainly hope so. A great big thanks to Craig F too. Cheers.

Room Tip: Staying on the top level will give you a wonderful view of the ocean.

I have stayed in hundreds of RV Parks all over the country, and this is one of the best by far. The facilities are impeccable, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the proximity to Santa Barbara can't be beat. Also, one of the prettiest beaches in California is a short walk down the hill.
