We were highly recommended to go visit the Madonna Inn from a friend. I'm so glad we were able to visit and see what's it all about. We only had time for breakfast in their copper room. The Eggs Benedict was awesome, with 1" thick Canadian bacon Our waiter Gabe, rocked and was a pleasure to talk to. The decor was out of this world. Lot's of pink! And the cakes were beautifully hand crafted and so delicious. We were so full from the breakfast but we couldn't resist to take a slice of banana cake and carrot cake home. YUMMY! The best cake I've tasted in a long time. Next time we will take time to stay in one of their many themed rooms. The landscaping was awesome as well. Service staff and the gift shops are amazing. They have tennis courts and swimming pools that are in great condition. I didn't get to see the many hot tubs they have. Everyone should visit the Madonna Inn once.

Straight out of the old days of motor Inn's. The rooms are uniquely designed and decorated to match themes, like Caveman, Western, Desert..... The Bar adn Dinning hall is a throwback to supper clubs and dance halls. Great place to stop and unwind when traveling the Pacific Coast Highway.

Had a nice lunch at the Cooper Cafe today. Salads and a Madonna Fritatta (which is a very funny name). All were good, a bit pricy, but you are paying for the chic of the place. Very nice service. The Fritatta came with a biscuit which was heaven. The flowers around the grounds are all in bloom and very pretty.

We have stayed at the Madonna Inn many times over the past 40 years since we first stayed on our wedding night. Each room is unique in its own way so look over their list of rooms before you book. Typically, the further out before your stay the better your chance of getting the room that appeals to you most. The Gold Rush Steak House is highly recommended. Every time we have eaten there the food has been prepared to perfection. (hint: Ask for Ashlee) One of the original reasons the motel and restaurant was built by Alex & Phyllis Madonna built the facilities was to provide travelers with a bed and good meal. Like everything else at this facility they went overboard with perfection and details at everything they did. You will not be sorry you picked this hotel or, if you are just passing by, the restaurant.

Room Tip: Make all your reservations well in advance.
