I've been here a few times and enjoy the food and large portions. I never leave hungry. It's a convenient location right by the train station.

Wonderful buffet available for lunch and dinner. It's great to have this at dinner time, especially for kids and picky eaters! Good Indian food, with pleasant service and nice people.

All ages from 9- 55 enjoyed each dish we ordered and shared. We had lamb, vegetarian and chicken. All in succulent sauces. The nan complemented the food without taking front stage, The raita smooth the food in the end. Oh yes, the mango lassi was wonderful almost a dessert with dinner. The bus boy was friendly and helpful, though the waiter who took our order was helpful, he seemed a bit serious for a people business. Will return if in the area.

A group of eight of us went to lunch recently on a Saturday. The buffet was not only really attractive but the selection of dishes was plentiful, appeared and tasted freshly cooked. Selection of vegetarian and meat dishes, salad, dessert and chai included in the buffet price. I also had a mango/ginger drink which was great.

Had a mid-evening business social dinner with clients who are themselves experts in Indian cuisine. Two of us are vegetarian and we had terrific selections. One had a chicken biryani and was pleased with it. We had chutneys, bread, and wine. All very good. We were not rushed by the efficient but well paced, professional servers. Very nice ambiance, but the food is the highlight at Saffron.
