We spent quite a bit of time in the Park -- there were Orange trees in bloom (a lovely scent similar to Jasmine) and beautiful azaleas, camellias, roses, palm trees and more. A lot of trees have tags with their names. There are many statues and small coves for special remembrances - e.g. the VietNam war. We missed the commemorative seals, but got interested in the Trout Pond which sadly is not filled neither with water nor trout.

Beautiful spot in downtown Sacramento. The park is easily accessible. There were a lot of people taking walks and kids playing in the grass. There are a variety of trees, flowers, and birds throughout the park. Even a couple of cherry blossom trees.

Nice city park with mature trees, attracting people and birds. And since the birds are used to people, it is a good place for bird pictures. Nice and quite area close to conference center and hotels too.

This is where history was made, since before California was a state. It has been the where some of the greatest leaders in California's past and present operated. And, it is the center of where California's innovation leads the path to the future!

Worth walkways that meander around the Capitol, this is a great place to get outside and enjoy the grounds around the Capitol.
