Our concierge at Carneros Inn recommended this tour and we are glad that he did. When you arrive you are greeted at a large living room type of place over looking the valley and Auberge du Soleil. The Vice President of the Winery and other staff greeted us with wine before the tour was to start and it felt more like a nice cocktail reception than waiting for a winery tour to start. While we were not as familiar with Hall, they produce wines in small lots that get Wine Spectator ratings in the range from 92 to 97 regularly - and you will notice this when you visit their tasting. They actually have a trained sommelier serve as your tour guide and through the tasting under a lovely Austrian fixture in their art filled cave. Really a very unique winery that seems to be getting a lot of buzz with the wine elite in Napa and beyond. Most people on the tour were so impressed that the bought wine afterwards or joined the club, though there was certainly not any pressure to do so. We would highly recommend this tour.
