Here's another industrial park find!

This is a squeaky clean professional bakery with a wide spectrum of freshly baked pastries. How about some chocolate eclairs? Or baked-on-premise croissants? Apple fritters perhaps? If you are more hungry, a thick slice of Sicilian pizza awaits! There are salads too. A high-end coffee maker and a wide selection of teas are available as well. But perhaps the most unique thing about this place is the pastry selection.

Friendly (and lovely) wait staff top off the experience. There are a few outdoor tables and 4 tables inside.

If you are on Rt 80 coming North or South in the Richmond, this will make a quick, easy, and very tasty stop!

Unbelievable high quality pastries, pizza, coffee, cookies in a most unlikely spot.
Two Italian brothers run this fabulous place tucked away on the frontage road between light industries and auto body repair. Olive sticks to die for! Sfoglietelli worthy of Rome!
Lunch specials, very delicious. There is some seating, on nice days, there are a few tables outside.

Don't let the warehouse location fool you! You are about to enjoy the most delicious, light, buttery pastries outside of Italy! Couple your pastry of choice, filled with smooth chocolate or seasonal fruit, with a velvety cafe latte. This is the best latte I've had in the Bay Area (and that's saying something). If you're looking for a full meal, you can't go wrong with a crisp pizza, mouthwatering quiche, or hearty salami sandwich. If you want greens, I highly recommend the Iron Salad with creamy fresh blue cheese. The staff is friendly and helpful and I promise you don't have to agonize too much about what to have, because 1) you will love it, and 2) you will be back for more very soon!!

Read about this in a local magazine and went out to try the pastries. Was NOT disappointed. But first we had the vegetarian quiche, some focaccio with sweet cherry tomatoes, and a sausage and mushroom pizza. All outstanding. Thin crust pizza a delight, as was the foccacio, with it's thicker dough. I'm not a vegetarian, but the better half enjoyed it.
This is a cafe, not a restaurant, but the presentation and effort put into the food is first class. Pride of ownership, hands-on involvement, quality of food, - I'll be back lots. One drawback - they take Sunday off, so get in there the rest of the week. And they open at 7:00am, so if you get stuck in the westbound 80 traffic going to work in the City, get off at Central or Buchanan and find this place. It will start the day right, or make the Saturday shopping so much more enjoyable.

And there are some really yummy pastries in the display case around the counter. A couple actually made it home- some of them didn't, but oh so good.

Was next door at Wheelhouse Baseball Academy when we all noticed our stomachs growling. Decided to walk into the nice little cafe for a late lunch. We ordered a panini which were all very good.
The downsides of the cafe is the size inside. They only had 3 small tables available. It also took a little longer than expected for our lunch to come out to us.
I would not hesitate to eat here again if hunger strikes while we are at Wheelhouse.
