We were in Redwood City for business and looking for good places to eat; this is one. It is in a quaint area of Redwood City also!

We recently had a group dinner at the Crouching Tiger. We ate family style as there were almost 20 people in our group. The staff was very friendly and did a nice job handling our group. We were happy to find Bud Light available on the menu in addition to a good selection of "craft" beers. The food was served promptly and was good quality. We did find that some of the dishes that we recommended to us by members of our groups were much to spicy for our taste but the waitress told us the would make any dish in a less spicy version which we appreciated. Overall a nice experience.

Authentic? Not sure, I like the potstickers, Mongolian beef, and some of the prawn dishes. The use zucchni, which is usually mushy in many dishes & add regular green peas frequently. Since I dislike any but snow peas, it's a work-around to avoid that vegetable.

This was a take out visit, though we’ve eaten in many times. My favorite dish there is war wan ton soup. I also like their fried rice. We like shrimp, and pork. Sweet and sour pork is good also. There is public parking, and that is really good downtown. The prices are average, and the staff is very friendly.

This is one of my favorite places in Redwood City. Delicious Chinese kitchen with some highlights, including Szechwan Hot & Spicy Dan-Dan Noodle. Menu should be simpler, it is too extensive for everything to be great. In fact, some choices were not so great. I did not like Beef Chow Mein (the meat was possibly frozen). Sizzling rice platter with pork was barely edible with no taste at all. It is hard to understand the concept of this dish. On the other hand, Wonton soup is always delicious, consists of hearty broth and delicious, tender wontons. In conclusion, if you know what to pick from the menu, you will be highly satisfied. Service can be very loud, slow and moderately polite but is never rude. Best Chinese in Redwood City.
