After having done a search on a number of hotels, ended up on deciding on this one and wasn't disappointed. Despite the complex being next to a freeway and a room almost over looking it, I had no issues with hearing any noise. The apartment had everything that I had wanted (kitchenette, dining room, desk overlooking outside). It was large enough without being oversized. Neat and tidy facilities. Liked the fact that it had breakfast downstairs in the dining room included in the price. Obviously had some suites available for those whom had dogs as I had seen a couple of guests there with their dogs. The staff were friendly and polite. There is adequate parking outside. Liked the fact that there was a train station about a five minute walk from the hotel, which I had ended up using since not having a car. Excellent stay and would stay there again.

Whether it’s for a short stay or long stay, the Residence Inn is always spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. I really enjoyed the neutral color scheme and thoughtful decor throughout. The staff are also very polite and efficient at the same time.

Our 3rd floor room was facing the busy 405 freeway. My biggest concern was noise, but the only noise we heard were the dear company dancers in for a competition. Either they walked like elephants or were doing aerial flips in the room. Thankfully, the front desk was kind enough to let them know people like to sleep after midnight.

Very kind hospitality staff... breakfast was a nice enough breakfast worth not having to get out of the hotel to find food.

There was a super cute black & white kitty who had taken up “residence” at the “inn”, everyone fed him and was so sweet to him. Apparently a local animal humane organization feeds him daily.

So, the hotel was one of 3 on our street, all new, all very nice; The Hilton Garden Inn, The Residence Inn, & The Homewood Suites. At the end of the parking lot was a Tesla charging station with 10 spots, and they were ALWAYS full!! The front desk manager said Tesla threw buckets of money at the hotels to make them nicer, I agree it worked.

It was a lovely area, just a hop to Manhattan Beach & they have great little eateries!!

It was incredibly affordable and the 405 can take you wherever you want to go!!

I highly recommend & would definitely stay there again.

Amenities included: Dishwasher, Microwave, 2 Burner Stovetop, full size Refrigerator, ironing board, iron, nice storage, closet space, & a hair dryer!! Onsite laundry facilities too!

Central to Torrance and Redondo beach, the Hotel was very noisy, we had room 145 on the ground floor which was beside a basket ball court , at 1045pm we had to complain to get play stopped. Also our room seemed to be under a stairwell, so we heard a lot of movement. Whilst the room was comfortable and clean, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, I thought 14$ a day parking for on road was excessive.

The Residence Inn Redondo Beach (2420 Marine Ave) is a perfect property for short or long term stays. I started a stay in February and continued to stay into March. I am a long time Marriott supporter and this hotel lives up to the brand expectations perfectly. Upon arrival I met Oscar at the front desk, who was extremely helpful and friendly. The check in was quick and easy; Oscar explained all the different amenities. These include: Pool, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Grill, Laundry, Basketball and/or sport court, beautiful lobby with Tv's. Full buffet breakfast every morning 7-9a weekdays and 7-10a weekends. Always eggs, potatoes, sausage, sometimes bacon or chorizo as well. There is oatmeal with fixings, waffle makers, breads, croissants, all juices, coffee, yogurt and hard boiled eggs! Then there are Mixers Monday - Wednesday 6-730p; Monday are appetizers (enough for a meal flatbread etc), Tuesday (They GRILL you heard me GRILL), this week was fabulous grilled chicken, all the fixings, chips and spinach salad, Wednesdays are either food truck (which is not included for free) and/or desserts. Every mixer includes beer, wine, sodas and bottle water for free! The wonderful food and beverage staff headed by Alexis will go out of their way for you; Maria, Samsara, Avery are great! Its wonderful to know this residence inn has such a fabulous Food and Bev team!
The front desk staff is awesome and continues to strive to make you feel at home and always have big smiles! The always greet you when you come in and assist on any way possible. Cash runs the desk staff and is just a great. He ensures to deal with issues and strives to loves to get to know his guests, as does his team. Muna Is wonderful she is daytime and goes out of her way to make the stay perfect. Oscar (mentioned before) is very helpful and so friendly, makes me laugh a lot! Lo, Brittany, Bree and Carla mostly work nights and always are happy and friendly!
Norma in housekeeping is a gem, shes so great and always such a bright person to see everyday!
There a few people that also are always there and have gone way out their way! John drives the shuttle and is such a pleasure to get to know. The shuttle runs from 7-11a and 4-9p during the week. It takes you anywhere within a 3 mile radius and take a ride with John as he is a wonderful person. Kevin and Rex also are always on property it seems and truly make my stay enjoyable. Meagan and Daniel have also been helpful and they work in the back office, but always say hello.
Overall This property is great and has so much to offer every guest. When traveling to the LAX area or just as a get away try this property you WILL not be disappointed! Did I mention you can have your dogs as well!

Room Tip: All rooms are double pane and the hotel is quiet. VERY spacious rooms as well.
