We had a Seafood Soup, Salmon n Salad, Corn and Garlic Fries. All very good. The restaurant s got a real authentic feel, we can recommend staying there.
We went out for dinner for some good fresh fish. Three of us took the seared Ahi tuna and one of us the grilled sword fish. The Ahi still nicely raw/pink on the inside but very fresh as is should be. The swordfish grilled an moist. Both dishes were very good. If you are looking for fresh seafood this is the place to be, don't expect fancy dining. The wines are for US standards cheap by the bottle both the white an red wines.
Honest fresh well prepared seafood is what you get at Captain Kidds.
3 of us went there on a Sunday afternoon (not best time) and found a long line (expected). We all ordered different things and found them all perfect. The weather matched the food not to mention the view. :-)
We were recommend this place by Mike's bike shop just a block away. It's a restaurant & fish market. You can order from the market and then have prepared by the restaurant. Friendly staff and great menu choices. Food is prepared in front of you which is always a plus. The shrimp fajitas are a family dish hit. It's not the normal fajitas with tortilla. The platter was big and enough for two big guys or a family of four. There is in door and out door seating available. Nothing fancy mainly picnic tables with umbrellas. Very casual atmosphere just a few steps away from the Marina. Prices are fare market value for seafood. Great place to hit up after being on the beach all day. Just cool place to eat and chill.
