Killer ribs, you get four pretty meaty ribs with a great smokey flavor. also the lobster pot stickers with miso butter sauce, the sauce is soooo good it could be a soup :) not too thrilled with the newer prices on appetizers, happyhour apps for $10 is just too much, oh well, the flavors are great here, plus I guess if you take advantage of the dinner specials like FREE LOBSTER it makes up for the app $$$ .

We were in vacation and wanted to try out Roys again as we had always had such nice experiences whilst dining there. We decided to try happy hour and say in the bar area on the high stools. It was a busy time and had a nice atmosphere. My husband and I both had red wines which were very nice and we shared the four X fish dish and ribs . The ribs were very nice but the meat didn't fall off the bone like the ones I'd had the night previous at our hotel. The fish dish was delicious but the best fish was the blackened cod with sesame seeds. If you're there for dinner, you must try this entree as its delicious. Our server was busy and worked hard but was attentive and polite and provided good service.

We then went ine Saturday for brunch. We got there for opening around 12 midday and the food was great. I had Seabass and it was so tasty. Again the service was very good and we shared a bottle of white. Roys is Hawaiian fusion food and definitely worth a visit. The formal dining area overlooks the kitchen where guests can see all the food being prepared in the busy kitchen. There is also seating at a bar where you can watch the chefs prepare the food. It's valet parking only most nights but during the day you can self park.

The happy hour at Roy’s is excellent. Great selection of appetizers at very reasonable prices. Also reduced prices on drinks. Our advice is go early (they open at 4) or you may not get a seat.

All-in-all and nice dinner with our friends. The kitchen did miss cooking my meal but the other 6 people got there meals after a medium wait. Mine came quickly after and with a lot of apologies (but no discount) - had the scallops and were very good. Had to wait longer then usual for the deserts.

We visited Roy's last night and had a excellent experience. From the time you arrive (free valet) you are welcomed with a level of service that is outstanding. The restaurant is very clean and modern. We sat at the bar for their happy hour and had a wonderful meal. Good selection of cocktails from a very knowledgeable bar tender. We tried the lobster potstickers, parmesan fries and 2 sushi rolls (California Lobster Roll & Ebi roll). All of the food was served quickly and was excellent. We will definitely be back again to explore the menu some more!
