Amazing rock formations, lovely stream beside the trail. The 1 mile trail was challenging enough. I was glad I had walking sticks, but most younger people would not need them- I am 77.

This is quite a walk, so do not take it during real hit. Actually for Palm Springs it would be best if you check the place in the period of October - April, during the summer it simply is too hot. Views are spectacular, there even is this little waterfall to see. Take your hiking boots and plenty of water! And talk to the native Indians at the entrance, they have extremely interesting stories to tell!

This was a lovely, unique spot. We did a couple short hikes and really enjoyed it. So close to town, too. Go early in the day. It gets hot and crowded.

We got very lucky when we chose to hike the Andreas Canyon loop trail. It’s just one mile of beautiful views and nature and just challenging enough to keep us interested and uninsured. Take a camera.
