“Beautiful setting, Great experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2009

This was a great experience. Golf in the wine country, winding between vineyards. On nearly every hole someone had to stop and remark on the beauty of the setting. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The course is in great shape. The greens are well groomed, but the design that allows you to be on the green and yet not be able to putt at the hole is a bit suspect. Good lunch at the grill afterward.

“Nice 27 hole course.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2007

I was fortunate to play 36 holes on a sunny Sunday in September 2007. I contacted Roger Billings, the GM, ahead of time and he set up a double tee time. The staff was friendly and we started on time.

The course plays out to 27 holes (Lakes, Meadows, Vineyards) and is well-maintained. The greens are fairly fast compared to what I am used to, but, had 31 putts on second round. They roll true. A little soggy in the morning, but, by noon they were tight.

The course is challenging and there are some pretty nice views from some of the elevated tee boxes. A few holes have forced carries, but, the markers are in the center of the fairway to guide you.

A very nice experience, and if nothing else, my wife let me play 36 holes in one day!
